B shot: Charge Gun - Fires a burst round of 3 bullets toward the enemy at medium speed. Ten bullets can be fired before having to reload. Minor homing.

B attack: Beam Yoyo - A three hit melee if on the ground normally. If either flying or ground dashing she extends her yoyo forward and keeps it extended long enough to grind on her opponent for a good half second.

B charge atk: Charge Shot - Fires a large bullet at medium-high speed toward the enemy.

X: Barrier - Creates a blue shield around the herself.

Quirks: If you have full shield during an ICBM blast, you can make a new one just as your old one shatters and survive. During Chrono Samurai's Time Stop, the barrier lasts infinitely for the duration.

Analysis / Gameplay Tips[]

At 500 points and with only 150 starting HP, Barrier girl makes a pretty bad first impression. Fortunately first impressions don't mean much in Gotcha Force. She makes up for the lack of HP with her insane X move, Barrier. It creates a blue shield that absorbs all damage before shrinking and eventually breaking. Even with her above average speed in the mix, she isn't made to be the center of the action. While she's generally best used in medium or long range as close-quarters combat carries inherent risks for such a frail borg, her barrier pairs nicely with her swift melee attacks and makes her a surprisingly potent melee force. Against other close-ranged Borgs, she has a tendency to strike first (partially due to enemy attacks glancing off the shield), nullifying their melee advantage. Using a Barrier Girl in this way proves absolutely devastating for Borgs that are easily knocked down- for example, Blade and Anubis Wings, who fall quickly and easily to her yoyo.
